What We Do:
The Roots and Wings Parent Coaching program offers one-on-one support to parents in the comfort of their own home, by phone, or via email. With a life devoted to teaching, counseling, and guiding new parents into their most important role as loving caregivers, Gail Root has the perfect combination of child development knowledge and perinatal psychology experience.
Prices start at $200/hour for the initial consult, and $100/hour for follow-up visits
*A sliding fee schedule is available and we can also design custom packages to fit your specific needs.*

About Gail
With an M.A in Clinical Psychology, Pre & Perinatal Psychology and a B.S in Child Development as well as 50 years of experience in the field- as a parent coach, mom, grandma, entrepreneur, and more; I am well suited to support your journey through parenthood.
I founded Parents Place in 1988, and the Monterey County Maternal Mental Health Task Force in 2016. I also have served on the Board of the Birth Network of Monterey County. I was the program manager who set up the Parenting Connection of Monterey County. Having served in Monterey County as a Volunteer for over 35 years, I was honored to receive the Monterey County Outstanding Woman of the Year in 2002.
I now provide consultation services from the comfort of your home.
